Polynesian Cultural Center offers a variety of meal service options
ranging from fine dining in an exquisitely beautiful tropical restaurant
through our most popular Alii Luau — Hawaii's finest traditional
"feast for a king"— to an all-you-can-eat cosmopolitan
dinner buffet, snack bars and concession stands.

Ambassador Fine Dining
The
Polynesian Cultural Center's most exclusive package, the Super
Ambassador, naturally includes the finest levels of dining service,
presentation and menu selections:
Appetizers
(one from the following menu):
Shrimp cocktail served with cocktail sauce and lemon; deep-fried Maui
onions served with poha berry sauce; fresh oysters served with a spicy
tropical salsa, garnished with caviar and chives; and linguine with
steamed clams, featuring a pesto sauce with sautéed onions
and shiitake mushrooms.
Soups
(one from the following menu):
Kahuku corn chowder, a country-style chowder combined with fresh Kahuku
supersweet corn; Laie onion soup, a sautéed onion broth with
parmesan garlic bread and Swiss cheese; and Portuguese bean soup,
an island-style favorite for over a century. Soups are served with
taro and wheat rolls.
Salads
(one from the following menu):
Papaya and Maunaloa garden salad with papaya seed dressing; macadamia
nut caesar salad garnished with fresh cracked pepper; broccoli and
crab salad served with avocado and Manoa lettuce; house salad with
watercress; plus hearts of romaine lettuce, fresh asparagus, spinach
and cherry tomatoes served with a delicious house dressing.
Entrees
(one from the following menu):
Misoyaki chicken marinated with peanut butter miso sauce; shrimp scampi,
sautéed in garlic lemon butter; "onolicious" salmon, served
with carmelized guava lime sauce; tender prime rib, served with au
jus sauce and lilikoi [passion fruit] horseradish; and
luau favorites: Laulau, a package of steamed butterfish and
pork wrapped in luau [spinach-like young taro) leaves; and
kalua [baked] pork, seasoned and steamed in an underground
imu (oven), accompanied by tasters of lomilomi salmon
(marinated fish) and Hawaiian poi. All entrees are served with
your choice of rice pilaf, steamed rice, sticky white rice, sweet
potato or baked potato. Condiments include sour cream, bacon bits,
chives and green onions.
Desserts
(one from the following menu):
Haupia [sweet coconut custard] pie, baked coconut and sweet
potato with coconut pudding; luscious Maori trifle with custard, guava
cake layered with whipped custard; chiffon cake, topped with cream
cheese frosting and macadamia nuts; and the Ali'i Volcanic Royal with
vanilla ice cream, apple banana, fudge, macadamia nuts, topped with
strawberries and whipped cream. Choose from Wahiawa pineapple juice,
fresh guava juice, Laie mist or a Hukilau smoothie.
Super
Ambassador Package guests are also welcome to dine at any of the Polynesian
Cultural Center's other dinner venues, including the Alii
Luau.

"Season's
Best" Soup & Salad Bar
Featuring miso and clam chowder and island-fresh tossed greens
with a host of condiments; jumbo shrimp cocktail; crab legs; a healthy
assortment of garden veggies, sashimi from the fresh catch
of the day served with wasabi, somen noodles, appetizing
sushi, plus the childhood favorite Jell-O™. And don’t
forget to taste our homemade Maunaloa green salad served with your
choice of papaya seed, ranch, French, thousand island, caesar and
Maui onion dressings. Chilled Fruits and Vegetables
Enjoy
Polynesia's cream of the crop, including locally grown pineapple,
Kahuku juicy watermelon (seasonal), cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes,
juicy strawberries, and fresh sweet papaya.

Galore
Take your pick of tender prime rib;
succulent stir-fry, deep fried macadamia nut chicken and baked teriyaki
chicken, baked mahimahi with a coconut crab topping, baked
red potatoes and steamed white rice accompanied by salted plums and
black sesame seeds.

Enjoy Mother Nature's string beans,
cauliflower, carrots onions and bell peppers.

On tap are pineapple, guava and orange
juices, tropical fruit punch as well as the usual crowd favorites

tea. Caffeinated coffee and Coca-cola™are
available upon request.

The
Gateway Buffet
The
Polynesian Cultural Center's Gateway Restaurant serves an outstandingly
good and satisfying cosmopolitan buffet that's sure to please any
palate. Of course, in the best Polynesian tradition where feasting
has been elevated to an art form, you're welcome to enjoy as much
as you like from among the following menu:

Spread
Sample our island-fresh tossed greens
with an assortment of trimmings and dressings including thousand island,
ranch, French, and Maui onion: vegetable pasta salad; rainbow Jell-O™;
and the always popular Mama's yummy macaroni salad. Soup lovers, try
our classic chicken noodle recipe.

Select from an enticing array of
fruits and vegetables that may include chilled pineapple chunks (fresh
from nearby fields), watermelon slices (seasonal), peaches and cottage
cheese, orange wedges, apple bananas (seasonal); and carrots, baby
corn, beets, Korean kim chee and coleslaw.

is the Hawaiian word for "delicious."

fruit punch; or try lemonade, Coca-Cola™ (caffeine free), Diet

an additional surcharge and on a space available basis, Gateway Buffet
guests may upgrade their meal service to the Alii
